I've got hives. I've had them for a few weeks now but they got much worse over the last two days. I think I'm either allergic to the pool or my job. I'm not sure which would be worse. They are covering my arms and a few are also popping up on my legs, torso, neck and forehead. Yes, you heard that right, I have hives on my face. Awesome. They are super itchy and neither Claritin or Benadryl are helping much...
On a happy note, I'm leaving for Minnesota tomorrow morning! I haven't been home since our wedding shower/BBQ last June. Much too long. Starting tomorrow afternoon I will be breathing fresh air, listening to the birds, watching the stars and enjoying the peace and quiet for four lovely days.
Lucky for me it will look just like this:

I hope your hives improve soon!! And I hope your trip will help as well - it looks like a beautiful place and I'm sure you'll get lots of relaxing in :)
Hives = suck. Hopefully they will go away while you're vacationing from both your job and the pool. :)
Have fun in MN this weekend! I think the weather is suppose to be pretty nice across the state (meaning, better than the cloudy, chilly weather we've had so far this week).
Have a good vaca! Sorry to hear about your hives. End of 2006 I had awful hives for the first time in my life. They figure it must have been stress related. Then one day, they disappeared as mysteriously as they appeared. The human body is weird.
Hopefully being home and some R&R will help. Take it easy!!
